Roof Heater Elements

Although these roof heater elements can be used in a multitude of different ways, they are primarily used in commercial air conditioning units, where the element is attached directly to the fan outlet ports.

One or two thermal cut-outs can be fitted if required; either auto-reset, PTC manual-reset, or a combination of both types. Some customers, however, prefer to have the cut-outs fitted elsewhere.

Fast Response

With the low thermal mass of the element due to its open-wire construction, heat up and cool down times are very fast, compared to those for mineral sheathed elements. This makes them capable of providing accurate temperature control.

Ratings

Voltages: 110 volt & 230 volt single phase & 400V 3 phase as standard.
Power from 750W to 6KW

Connections

Connections can either be by 6.3mm (¼ inch) tabs on the element endplate or by flying leads with bare ends or 6.3mm receptacles.
